CHARACTER EXHIBITIONS form part of an experimental and more innovative theatre practice/showcase.

This Character Exhibition will seek to showcase our local industry works: scripts and performances. Local writers, actors, set designers and make up artists will have the platform to display their works in an exhibition setting unlike how the typical theatre production is staged. The setting will be that, when audiences arrive at the theatre, at the door they’ll be welcomed by a few artists performing monologues in a stylized way, depicting framed art works, so each performer will have their own space to perform their piece.

The actual showcase will not be longer then 30mins, here more experienced actors will perform pieces by local writers and directors on a set put together by the stage designers.

This is a real-time interactive exhibition where the audience can get involved with a Q and A session after each performance. This is a brilliant way to keep our local stories alive and in continuous development.
